BOOK DRIVE with Bernie's Book Bank is coming to Wayne Thomas School the week of April 22.

This year, celebrate Earth Day by recycling your gently used, previously loved books!

From
April 22-26, Wayne Thomas School is partnering with Bernie's Book Bank to collect books for children (birth-6th grade).

Bernie's Book Bank provides free, quality books to children in need to build personal libraries and has distributed more than 24 million free books since 2009.

On the tails of our successful WT Scholastic Book Fair, our students were lucky enough to experience the magic of receiving new books. Let's pay it forward to our community members in need.

Books can be placed in the collection bins located in the front vestibule at school from Monday, 4/22 - Friday, 4/26. (See below for accepted items)

Disability Awareness Week (week of 4/22) is presented by Educating Outside the Lines. The week will kick off with assemblies about building a more inclusive world and present age-appropriate scenarios for students to understand and accept disability.

EOTL relies on the help of parent volunteers to execute the grade level breakout activities. All students will participate in activities, but volunteers are only needed for grades K-3.

Volunteer sign up.
