Spirit Day - Wear your costume to school

Description

We are excited to celebrate Halloween with our students. We look forward to a fun day of smiles and laughter. If students would like to dress up, please send them to school in their costume that still allows them to move about in their classrooms. There will not be an opportunity for students to change into their costumes.

Guidelines

- Halloween masks should not be worn.

No weapons or look-alike weapons are allowed at any time.

Costumes should not prevent the student from fully participating in learning activities. Students will still have PE on those days! Please use good judgment.

Inclusivity

Please keep in mind the emotional components of group costumes on the students not involved in that group. Please be considerate and inviting to any students eager to join a group costume, and have conversations at home about being respectful to other students.

Costume Walk & Monster Mash SEL Assembly

Students will participate in a costume walk on 10/31 and they are working to earn a Monster Mash Assembly as part of our SEL Responsibility focus. The costume walk will take place beginning at 9AM, until all classes have had the chance to walk across the front of the school. Students will exit out the primary doors, walk around the front of the school, and reenter through the 5th grade doors. Parents can gather in the grassy area in the parking lot to watch their students.
