2026-27 PTO Position Interest

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Wayne Thomas PTO!
Take a look and select any committees or roles that catch your interest—you can choose as many as you’d like.

 

This is just a way for us to learn what you’re open to, not a commitment to everything you select. Someone from the Executive Board will reach out over the summer to help find a great fit.

 

Chair and Committee Openings

  • Social Media – promote upcoming events and post pictures on FB and IG from events
  • School Supplies - work with school and vendor to create grade-specific supply lists and assist in delivery mid-August
  • Events and Community Engagement - help plan and execute school-wide events like Movie Night, Bingo Night, etc.
  • Join committees for Staff Appreciation, Book Fair, Yearbook and/or Spirit Wear

Potential Board Positions (denoted with *)

  • Programming – in-school student & family engagement to build community (service projects, assemblies, buddy activities, etc)
  • Finance/Treasurer – learn ins and outs of being the treasurer
  • Web – manage our website, including creating volunteer sign-ups, event registrations, membership drive, PTO emails and more!
  • Staff Appreciation co-chair – learn how to make our teachers feel amazing year-round
