Day of Giving 2026 | November 2–13 | Help us make a difference!

The Wayne Thomas PTO is proud to partner with D112 and the 112 Education Foundation for Day of Giving 2026, a community-wide effort to support local families in need.

This year, Wayne Thomas is collecting essential household items to help provide groceries and necessities to hundreds of families in Highland Park and Highwood. Our school has committed to collecting:

• 200 boxes of pancake mix

• 400 cans of soup

• 400 rolls of paper towels

All donations will be distributed to local families as part of the Day of Giving community event on Saturday, December 5.

THREE WAYS TO GIVE

1. Send in a donation with your child

Bring pancake mix, canned soup, or paper towel rolls to school between Monday, November 2, and Friday, November 13.

2. Donate through Zelle — we'll do the shopping!

Can't make it to the store? Send a monetary donation through Zelle to wtptotreasurer@gmail.com, and the PTO will shop for you!

3. Donate through the PTO website

Prefer to donate online? Make your contribution through the PTO website.

Be sure to include your child's grade in the memo line when making a monetary donation so we can give the credit to the right grade.

LET THE GRADE-LEVEL COMPETITION BEGIN!

Every donation counts! Physical and monetary donations both contribute to your child's grade-level total.

Follow the friendly competition and see which grade is leading the way!
